The Smyth County School Board met today at 5:30 P.M., at the General Francis Marion Hotel, 109 East Main Street, Marion, Virginia, with the following members present: Laura Hall, Jesse Choate, Sam Hambrick, Susan Sneed, Charles Doane, and Jerry Catron. Jim Coulthard was absent.
The purpose of the meeting was to meet and dine with the Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Team for SACS District Accreditation.
