   Grandma was about as tricky as a fox and played tricks on everyone. She was always in long dresses that go to her ankles. She really taught the boys who tried to knock over her privy.

   She used the knife that one of the boys dropped when she tricked them and used it to cut the cake for him. One time she made a deal with Old Man Ninquist. If his pecans fell from the tree. She stole his tractor and slammed it into the tree and picked up the fallen pecans.

   Grandma was a very sweet woman. She bought a pair of boots for Marry Alice for Christmas and she made a Christmas outfit for the school play for her. She got the money from selling fox furs.
