This is my secret to catching a good pelt, the sly fox.

   A bit about me

Kissing don't last: cookery does.
George Meredith

I grew up right here in Illinois, with my Ma and Pa. Pa learned me how to trap and skin critters, but Ma learned me how to cook some opossum pie!                                                                                              I ain’t seen much of the world in my day, but who likes cities? With all them city folks, who don’t know no more than a cow going to slaughter. It’s funny though, My granddaughter, Mary Alice, came from Chicago, to stay the summer down here  . She brought her varmint, a cat, along too.

Not to long ago, a traveler, named Arnold Green, stayed here for a short time, paying a pretty penny for the attic. Shortly after he moved in, He was painting Maxine Patch “nude” and the snake in the attic fell around her shoulders, sending her flying out the door, for the town to gander at.
