About Me

         I was a very devilish child growing up I had fourteen brothers and sisters and I was the youngest of them all so of course I would get them in trouble. I played so many pranks and tricks on them that they had to send me to school at the age of four. When I finally got in the eighth grade, I got kicked out of school.

         When I was kicked out I was walking home and I saw a very handsome man on the farm working with his father. We locked eyes and three months later we were happily married. Soon after we had a son by the name of Joseph Curtis Dowell. He moved away and got married and had two kids. We lived and were happily married for twenty-eight years and he was drafted into the war. He was killed and I mourned.

         Soon after his death the depression came along and my granddaughter Mary-Alice came and visited me to keep me company because her family could not support and take care of two children. We had tons of interesting experiences. She is all grown up and is happily married to Royce McNab. And I am very entertained by my favorite hobby, Hunting!!!! I have had so many experiences with hunting and so many good times.
