Welcome to Mr. Kestner's Website

Welding is a two-year course designed for junior and senior high school students. Upon successful completion of this program, students will earn three credits per year and be awarded a Qualification Certificate for Welding Operations approved by the American Welding Society and the Virginia State Board of Education.

Welding is a Dual Enrollment Program offered "free" through SCTC and Virginia Highlands Community College or Wytheville Community College. Over a two year period, students can earn 16 college credits (4 credits per semester).
