2023-2024 School Year Information

The Smyth County School Board adopted the official calendar for the 2023-2024 school year at its February 2023 meeting. The first day of school will be August 8. See the attachments for details on parent-teacher conferences, breaks, and other events.

All Smyth County Schools will conduct emergency drills during the 2023-2024 school year as required by the Code of Virginia.
